A Cousin Fix

The first weekend in October, we went to Spring to visit GiGi, PawPaw, Aunt Haley and Carter.  The girls have so much fun entertaining their little cousin.

The weather didn't cooperate with our plans to visit a pumpkin patch.  Instead, we made a trip to the mall.  GiGi had her big bag of quarters for the rides.

 It was a fun weekend of play!

Lion King

The first week in October, Nonnie and Pops took the girls and me to see Lion King at Fair Park.  It was our first big musical to go to and it was awesome!  The girls got the movie from the library the week before and had the songs down.  They have the soundtrack now and have been dancing and singing to the music every day.  

 Pops met us from work.  Caroline and Nonnie were on the lookout for him.

 It was a long show and we were ready to leave before the end, but the girls wanted to stay.

Jellystone Park

Our first camping trip was a big success!  We wanted to ease into camping so we decided to stay at Jellystone Park.  We slept in our tent, but Nonnie and Pops had a little cabin not too far away.  We used it to take a shower.  No need to rough it on our first time out in the wilderness!

 It wasn't surprising the first thing the girls did once the tent was up was dig through their suitcase and change clothes.  They change clothes all day every day!

 After camp was set up, we headed out to fish.

 Hayride- As we drove around the park on this hayride, we were supposed to wave at people we passed and say "hey, hey, hey!" It was pretty funny.

 S'mores were delicious!

 We had a hungry visitor!  He kept coming back to our site and actually ransacked a tub of food during the night.  We thought it was in the cab of the truck, but it was in the bed.  Oops!
