Aggieland 2018

We all played hooky from school on my birthday and headed to College Station early to claim our tailgate spot.  Nonnie and Pops met us for lunch with the girls.
I was excited to go to Santa's Wonderland for my birthday outing that evening.  It has changed beyond belief since I was in college.  We used to drive through in our cars.  It has been transformed into a village with hayrides and carriage rides. We all enjoyed getting in the holiday spirit!

 Our Carriage Ride

The next day, we were ready to shop and  eat at the original Freebird's (1st time the girls had been to Northgate).

Before heading to the tailgate, we stopped at the Benjamin Knox Gallery.  I was super excited to get a drawing of the Century Tree.  Brent proposed to me under it 15 years ago.  Benjamin Knox happened to be in the gallery and offered to put our names in the tree!
Here he is!

 Tailgate Time

Brent and I won some game tickets at a Coach's Night auction and took the girls to their first game in Kyle Field.
It was really exciting for Brent and me to teach them more about this place we love so much!

The band was their favorite part of the experience! We struggled to get a pic with them and the band in the background, but managed to get this!  It was a fun year in Aggieland doing some new and different things.

November Snapshots

Abby had her 4th Grade school musical November 1st!  It was a great way to kick off the month!

More Fun with Friends

Saying Goodbye to 1404 Pecos- Tears were shed as we left our old house for the last time.  It was a great house with great neighbors!  We toasted to memories made and new adventures to come in our house.

Abby's 10!  Her first celebration was at school.

We had dinner at The Feedstore with family and cake and presents at home.  It was our first celebration in the new house.

Abby decided to have her closest friends for a scavenger hunt in the Southlake Square instead of a party.  It was a blast!
 The First Clue
After pictures with Santa, the next clue led them to Bath and Body Works.

They had fun shopping and were off to Barnes and Noble.

The next clue led them to the movies to see The Grinch.
These girls were a delight.  They had so much fun posing everywhere we went.

Dinner at Cheesecake Factory was the next stop.

The finale was a carriage ride.

They got a little silly with their matching scarves.

It was a special night to celebrate a decade with our Abby!
Volleyball ended with a tournament win for Abby's team.  Both girls can't wait for the spring season.

Shopping for the Angel trees at church are always a favorite tradition in November.
 Veteran's Day Choir Performance
Brent went on Abby's school field trip to Cowboy Stadium.

 They had a great time.

CES night at our new favorite hamburger place.  Southlake finally got a Hopdoddy!
I've enjoyed watching Caroline have fun on the playground since my permanent sub job started.
The girls were in a Nutcracker performance affiliated with our dance studio.

We spent Thanksgiving in Spring.

Abby had another fun birthday celebration!

We helped Samantha celebrate her birthday with a pajama party and had breakfast for dinner.

Nonnie took us to a Christmas show in Fort Worth at Casa Manana to wrap up November.  We also tailgated at A&M over the Thanksgiving break.  Stay tuned for those pics!
