We have had a few days with cooler weather. I'm having a ball with her hats!

Brunch

Abby and I had brunch last week for all of our neighbors. We had a great time! I am lucky to be surrounded by seven neighbors that are home during the day. Abby liked having an older friend there. The girls had fun dragging out every toy while the ladies enjoyed breakfast and catching up with each other.

Abby made a new friend! She likes to touch everyone on the face when she first meets them.

"Read it again, PawPaw!" I think Paw Paw read the duck story so many times he will be seeing the little ducks in his sleep for a few nights.

She can pull up on her own now. She likes to pull up and then sit down over and over again.

A trip to Africa?

No. Just to Cabella's. It was exciting enough for Abby. Daddy and PawPaw had fun showing her around. They were in their element. She tried out a camo recliner.

She also tried on a camo toboggan, but decided against it since it wasn't pink.

She especially had fun with the fish mailbox. It worked just like the one on her fisher price house!

Daddy got a little carried away with Abby's hair last night. I don't know if I can ever trust him to do it for school. His goal was to make her look like Ace Ventura.

Dinner Conversation

Abby talks the most when she is in her highchair and you can usually get a wave from her. Our dinner conversation has definitely gotten more interesting!

Go Dragons!

Abby went to her first football game last night to cheer for Cousin Jake. She liked it. There was so much to see.

This is her famous reaching for mommy stunt. She does it everytime a handoff occurs. The person receiving her must quickly walk away from me or find a distraction. Pops knows the drill.

Abby is a little social butterfly now. We go to storytime at the Southlake library every week. She loves it. We sing, do nursery rhymes, read and have free play. These are pictures from her neighborhood playgroup we joined. It was at our house this week.

A Tiki Bar, A Fountain and Lots of People to Play With

What more could a girl want? Abby and I went with Nonnie, Pops, Momo and Ryan to visit my aunt and uncle in Tyler while Brent was fishing last weekend. We had a fabulous time! The entire family was there.

Last week Momo came to visit and we took Abby to visit Pops at work. Then he took us to lunch at La Madeleine's. Yum! Pops entertains The Cupcake at lunch.

Pops had a great time introducing Abby to everyone in the office.
