September Snapshots

We wasted no time reconnecting with friends when school started.  The girls had several play dates at our house.

Caroline was invited to her first slumber party!   She had a blast with some of her closest pals.

We always mix in chores with our fun.  The girls sort and fold all of their laundry.  Caroline decided to carry it on her head this day.  I had my phone in hand and snapped a quick pic. It was such a Caroline thing to do.
Nonnie and I took the girls to Bay City one weekend while Brent was hunting.  We always love our girl trips to see Momo.  It rained the entire trip, but we found fun!  The girls tried on these giant heads at Walmart.
Fun at the Bay City Bowling Alley

Abby was on announcements one day at school and. . .

. . . Caroline was picked to spin the prize wheel at lunch one day and scored her class an extra recess as a reward for good behavior in the cafeteria. A friend of mine was eating lunch with her daughter and was so sweet to snap these pics and a video for me.
My other friend teaches 4th grade and takes fun pics of Abby at recess.

We delivered snacks and treats to the Southlake firemen and policemen one weekend for our Dragon Pride community service.

The last weekend in September we had Brent's corps buddy group come stay the weekend.  We had additional families over for the Aggie Arkansas game.  It was a fun weekend and a great last party on Pecos.  We are moving across town next weekend!

The girls both played on rec volleyball teams this season and loved it!  We have two more Saturdays of games and will definitely sign up for the spring season.

Abby's teacher came to a game.

Stay tuned for October pics!  Can't believe Halloween is this week!
