Home Sweet Home

Well, we're finally home! We closed on our new house last Wednesday and have been moving in slowly.  The kitchen cabinets are being refinished and some molding is being painted so the kitchen and den are off limits.
This was our first time to go in the house after it officially became ours.
The first night we had an indoor picnic to celebrate Brent's birthday.

We have room for Big Minnie in this house.

The girls are loving their new space.  They share a room and Caroline has moved to a big girl bed.  She is excited every night climbing in and doesn't get out until I come get her in the morning.

Let's Get Down to Business

Last week, we visited Pops at work to help him decorate his new office.

Sea World

We got there right when the park opened.  The girls were excited waiting outside the gate.
Caroline started out with a nap.  I guess all the excitement tuckered her out.

Pops and Abby hit the Sesame Street Splash Pad.

Pops had to work hard to keep up with Abby, but he did it!

 Abby's First Ferris Wheel Ride
We saw the Shamu show first.

Caroline waved and waved to Shamu.
 Wow!

 The animals really were amazing.
This big girl likes to walk everywhere now.

The next show had lots of acrobatics.  It was very entertaining and the girls enjoyed it.

Ready to hit the park on the second day.

 Dolphin Feeding

I think the grown ups liked the 4D Sesame Street movie more than the girls.

"Is Anybody Going to San Antone?"

Last Thursday, we headed to San Antonio for a little vacation before our big move.  The girls had a great time staying in their first hotel.  They especially liked rides on the rolly chairs.

 Boat Ride on the River

You could definitely distinguish the 3 year old from the 2 year old.  Caroline got a bit impatient toward the end of the cruise.

 Relaxing by the Hotel Pool

We enjoyed lots of yummy Mexican food.

We ate at the famous Mi Tierra and Abby had a chocolate doughnut from their bakery.

Watching Flamenco Dancers in the Market

Throwing pennies in the fountain at our hotel.
The most exciting part of our trip was a visit to Sea World.  Stay tuned!

Back to the Fishing Hole

The girls really enjoyed the pond by Little Bubba's neighborhood.  We went every night and fed the ducks, fish and turtles.  A few weekends ago GiGi and PawPaw came to visit and brought our fishing equipment.

It took less than a minute for Abby to get her first bite.

These girls love to fish!  Caroline can't wait to touch the fish she catches.
