We enjoyed a vacation in Georgia at the end of July. We kicked the trip off with dinner at Pitty Pat's Porch in Atlanta.
I love Gone with the Wind and had fun looking at all the memorabilia.
We also went to The Sundial at the top of the Westin Hotel. The view of the city was amazing!
We spent one night at Little Bubba's and the next morning we were off to Lanier Islands Resort. Nonnie and Pops got a lake house for us and we enjoyed the water park and rented a boat one day.
The water park had this huge obstacle course in the lake. Brent and I did it once with the girls and Abby went again the next day with Little Bubba.
The lake was gorgeous and we enjoyed our day on the boat.
Little beaches were on the islands. You could pull up to any of them and explore.
The girls gave driving the boat a whirl. Abby kept going back for more.
We got a golf cart two evenings and went riding all over the property. We enjoyed the cooler temps and saw so many deer. We were amazed at how many we saw and how close we were to them.
One night we made s'mores in the hotel fire pit.
The girls had fun taking Callie on walks. It was a nice week of R&R!
