Stars and Stripes

We always have so much fun celebrating our amazing country on the Fourth of July!  We kicked the week off with our patriotic service at church.

We enjoyed the Southlake fireworks July 3rd.  The girls had light up sling shots this year.

 Looking for Constellations

The DeLeon family hosted our annual 4th of July Aggie reunion in Seabrook.

PawPaw let us borrow his boat. There was plenty of room for all four families to go out on the water for the firework show.

 Going Full Speed

The show in Kemah is always awesome!

As always, this trip and holiday were one of the highlights of our summer!

June Fun 2019

VBS with Friends
Abby was in VBX so I didn't see her group at all.  I worked in snacks.

The girls made bright chocolate chips for the ice cream sundae bar at Caroline's party.

Games on Father's Day-Sadly, I didn't get pics of the dads we were celebrating.

Abby and Caroline stayed with GiGi and PawPaw for a week while Brent and I went to San Francisco and Napa.
They had fun shopping, getting their dolls pampered and having tea at the American Girl Store.

It was a big week! They also went to Incredible Pizza, swam, saw Toy Story 4 and got manicures and pedicures.

They also squeezed in some baking.

Brent and I had fun on our adventure! We started off with riding a trolley, a delicious seafood dinner on the water at Scoma's and walking around Fisherman's Wharf.

We had drinks at Top of the Mark.
The next morning we toured Alcatraz.

 Riding a Pedicab to Lunch
We ate lunch at The Buena Vista, the first place to make Irish Coffee in America.  It was scrumptious!

Next, we were off to Napa!
We met our friends,  Daryl, Jana, Travis and Valerie, and had a fabulous two days touring six wineries.  Daryl and Jana are club members and got us into neat places.

We stayed in this house in St. Helena.

Wren Hop was our first stop.

We had lunch and a tasting in this garden.

They were all very different.  We loved the one where we had our tasting in a cave.  We also loved the name, Anderson's Conn Valley!

I scored two wine barrel heads!

The next week, Caroline was off to a Harry Potter theater camp every day.

 Abby had a swim party.
The girls played volleyball twice a week until August.  They showed some sisterly love on the court one evening.

June ended with a visit from Momo!
