Abby and Caroline in Aggieland

We went to A&M for our annual tailgate this weekend.  It was our first time to take both girls and they enjoyed every second of it.  Abby went to a cold and rainy tailgate when she was just one, so this was a new experience for them.
These little Aggies were ready for a big day.

Setting Up:  Friday, Nonnie, Pops, Little Bubba, Tommy and Lynn took off work and got to Spence Park by noon to run and mark our spot.  They actually blow a horn at noon and people dash for their desired spot.  To make it even more tense, campus was evacuated at 11:30 for a bomb threat.  Our crew stayed until the horn blew, marked our territory and then left.    Thanks guys!

We didn't go to the game this year since the girls were along, so Little Bubba brought a satellite and TV.  He worked hard figuring it all out and it payed off.  It was a perfect set up for us.  I had no desire to take the girls into the crowded stadium.
Nonnie and I brought lots of things to entertain the girls.  They were real troopers.  We were out there from 7:30am to a little after 5pm and they didn't have one meltdown.

We tried to get them to take a pic with these decked out LSU fans.

We took their babies on many walks.

Looking at the Calvary
Friday, we walked around the new MSC and Caroline spotted a female cadet.  She said,  "Oh, there is a little police woman.  She is so cute!"
My Favorite Part of the Day: March In
Waving to the Cadets
It is a must that I get some video clips of our band.  I get goosebumps every time I hear it.

The girls were speechless.

Our group grows each year.  We are up to four tents now and need more.
Caroline konked out while I was strolling her around the MSC.

Caroline thinks it is funny to step on Abby's feet in the wagon.  Abby does not think it is that funny.  It was an awesome first trip to College Station with the girls.  Looking forward to many more and hopefully one day, Brent and I will be going to visit them as students there.

Pansies at The Plantshed

Friday, we went on our annual trip to The Plantshed for pansies.
This muddy nursery provided the girls with another chance to wear their galoshes.

18 Days and Counting

We have a Halloween count down going on in this house.  Caroline and Abby can't wait to trick or treat!  The girls did not have school this past Tuesday, so that meant it was time for a field trip. The pumpkin patch was calling our name.  We headed to the gigantic patch in Flower Mound with three of our friends.  We pretty much had the place to ourselves.

"Wow! Where do we start?"

"These two on the edge will do just fine.  If we could only get them in the wagon."
Wagon Rides

Of course we had to cover our bases and look at all sizes.

Hay Maze

Going on our first hayride with friends.

Round and round and round we go!

Dylan and Caroline are in the same class at school and are always together.
This train had just enough cars for our group.

We ended the morning with a little swing ride and stopped for lunch on the way home. The girls were asleep  by the time I pulled in to the driveway.

The Late Night Show

The girls didn't need to be entertained Saturday night because they were busy doing the entertaining.  Carter had his own live late night show.

Boing! Boing!

We had no soccer game last weekend, so we decided it would be a good weekend to visit GiGi and PawPaw.  They had a huge surprise for Abby and Caroline Saturday morning.
The girls sat in their lawn chairs to watch the delivery man set it up.
Carter waited in suspense too.
Ta Da!  It was a castle bounce house.  These two princesses jumped from 9am until 6pm with only two short breaks to eat lunch and fish for a bit.  We also managed to get Caroline down for a nap.  She was exhausted.  Bouncing can really take it out of you.  Such a tough life!
It was a real treat for them to have a bounce house all to themselves.  It is always so crowded at parties and these girls aren't crazy about wild situations.
Caroline bounced in her most common sitting position most of the time.
"Ring around the Rosies!"
Taking a rest.

Abby would pop out once in a while to invite a family member to join her.

Wrestling with Daddy
I was invited in when they needed another horse to ride.
Rest assured:  they didn't forget to let their "people" bounce.

Fishing Break- PawPaw had worms and the girls caught fish faster than I have ever seen.

Caroline and Abby can't get enough of Aunt Haley when she is around.
Caroline kept aying, "This is tirin' (tiring.)"  When I tried to get it on video she stopped.

The bounce house wasn't the only attraction in Spring this trip.  Our new little cousin was there! He was much bigger than he was in August.  Abby and Caroline were both very attentive.  They especially loved watching Carter get his bath and Abby was thrilled to feed him.

Our little Mommy kept bringing Carter his football blanket.  She wanted him covered up so badly, but it was just too warm.  Between the bounce house and Carter, we had a weekend full of fun!
