Ringing in 2020

Brent and I had a memorable New Year's Eve in Vegas this year! We went for Tollie's wedding and had the best time!  This was the view from our room.  We stayed at the Bellagio.
The first evening, Tollie and James had a welcome cocktail party at Sky Tower.  We had a gorgeous view of the city.

New Year's Eve morning, Ruth and I helped the bride get ready for the big event and rode in a limo with her to the chapel.

They got married at Little Church of the West, the oldest standing chapel in Vegas.  It was built in 1942 and Judy Garland was one of the many famous people married there!

After the ceremony, we rode around Vegas in this gigantic party bus.

We stopped for pics at the famous Vegas sign.

The last stop was for a late lunch at Nacho Daddy.  I've never had such delicious, extravagant nachos!

Tollie and James hosted a New Year's Eve Firework watching party later that night in their suite.  They stayed at the top of Vdara and we saw an amazing firework show when the clock struck twelve.  Check out their cool cake below!  Brent and I had a great time and I am so glad I was able to share such a special time with Tollie and Ruth.  Great memories were made!
Meanwhile, Abby and Caroline had some fun of their own with Nonnie and Pops.  Their staycation started off with breakfast at Broken Egg Cafe and a scavenger hunt.
Next, they were off to Top Golf and the mall for some shopping.

I think they all got a kick out of the fun waiters.
Abby is all smiles when she finds new clothes!
They also made a stop at Nebraska Furniture Mart to help Little Bubba and Samantha pick out some barstools.
They had a sleepover at Little Bubba's and Sam's.  They played an Escape Room game they got for Christmas. . .

. . . and some virtual reality games.
The big finale for New Year's Eve was a stay at the Gaylord!
They did it all- Ice exhibit, snow hills, swimming and eating out!

We all had exciting New Year's celebrations and we wish you and yours a happy, healthy 2020!
