Caroline's Luau

We had a luau last weekend for Caroline's 6th birthday!  Although it rained off and on, we had a blast!

We bowled with coconuts and had seashell relay races to kick off the party.

After the games, a Hawaiian hula girl performed for us and taught the girls how to hula.  She was so good!  I could've watched her all day.

All of the girls really listened to her and learned some great hula dances.

She brought a special costume for the birthday girl to wear.

Caroline had fun dancing for everyone with her.  She was a natural.

After dancing and cake, the rain cleared off for awhile and the girls enjoyed swimming.

Time for the limbo, sprinkler style!

We had to get a pic with cousin Halle!

Caroline's Birthday Celebrations: Parts 1 and 2

We started Caroline's birthday parties early so Momo could celebrate with her before heading back to Bay City.  The birthday girl chose breakfast for dinner at I-Hop.

Abby wanted her present to be the first Caroline opened.  She was so proud and excited that she thought to give her the new Star Wars movie.

Caroline transformed into Rey after opening this costume and saber from Nonnie and Pops.
Abby used some extra accessories to dress up with her.

Caroline translated everything BB8 said to Momo.

Caroline ran in our room the next morning with her BB8 and saber.
On her actual birthday, Caroline chose CiCi's for dinner.

She was excited to open lots of Chubby Puppies from GiGi and PawPaw.

Gidget from Secret Life of Pets was a good surprise.  We can't wait to see the movie!  Stay tuned for our luau party pics!
