Our Little Slugger

We are all enjoying Caroline's Blast Ball season. Her personality shows on the field.  This week she tiptoed to the bases smiling and playing with her hair the whole way.

She enjoys the one on one skill practice with Daddy before the game.

 The first game was cold!
Caroline was excited to be the snack person.

This week was warmer! Abby was ready to cheer.

Last week, Pops got a video of her first turn at bat.  Priceless.
She likes to hit the ball, but she's not so sure about running to the bases.  A clip of the tiptoe and untuck from this week:

While the Cat's Away . . .

Brent and the girls had quite a fun filled weekend while I was in Austin.  Friday night they had a team dinner with Caroline's Blastball teammates, followed by her first game Saturday morning.  That deserves a post of its own!  Stay tuned!

I think it is safe to say Caroline raised the roof with her little friends.  I know she had more fun with Daddy in charge!

Saturday, after the game, Nonnie and Pops took Abby and Caroline to see The Wizard of Oz at Fair Park.  Our Toto dogs went along.
They met Brent back at Little Bubba's and wrapped up the day with a cookout and slumber party.

My Other Girls

Last weekend, my Zeta girls reunited in Austin. Friday night, we went to a 90's sing along.  It took us back to our college days.  What fun we had!  Saturday, we got pedicures, shopped and ate out.  I didn't take any other pictures.  I was on a break!

Sports Day

The first day back to school after Spring Break was Sports Day.  Woohoo!  I worked the miniature golf station and then took pics of Abby and Caroline playing a few other games.  They had a fun first day back with friends.
My phone took foggy pictures. :(

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

My Little Leprechauns baked and delivered green cupcakes to our neighbors on St. Patrick's Day.

They left them on one neighbor's porch and ran off due to a big, barking dog.

Go Little Bubba!

Ryan participated in his 2nd triathlon the last weekend of Spring Break.

It was a St. Patrick's Day event complete with bagpipes and Irish dancers.

Abby and Caroline were excited to cheer for him.

God's Promise

We were sitting around the house one night when Little Bubba texted, "Big Rainbow!"  We all ran outside to see this:
It was beautiful!

The girls stood staring at it for about 20 minutes.

Beach Bums

After visiting everyone in Spring, Nonnie picked us up and we headed to Momo's.  Although a little chilly, we had some beach fun one day.  Nonnie got a new car with four wheel drive, so now we can drive out to our spot on our own.  Before, when we didn't have the guys and their vehicles with us, we had to park and walk across the dunes.  It was quite a hike with two kids and our beach paraphernalia!  We are all set now! Although I didn't get Momo in any of these pictures, she was there and we enjoyed every second with her!

We collected tons of shells for Caroline's mermaid birthday party.

It got a little warmer when the sun came out and Caroline posed for her invitation pic.

It takes a long time to wash a hundred shells!
