Spring Break

We didn't go on a trip during Spring Break.  Daddy had to work and we were busy packing, but Nonnie and I managed to squeeze in some fun outings for the girls.  Monday, we went to a Winnie the Pooh play in Coppell.
 The girls really liked it.
Nonnie taught Abby how to play Go Fish, while I packed and Caroline napped.  It is her new favorite game.

Another day, we went to a puppet show at the library.

Caroline couldn't take her eyes off of the talking tree and dancing turkey.

We were going to have a picnic on the square, but Abby's allergies were really acting up.  Instead, we took their picnic into Fuzzy's Taco.  It was a treat for Nonnie and me to eat out for lunch.  Although Caroline is fussing in this pic, the girls thought their indoor picnic was fun.  I think she was hungry.
This is how Caroline wears her sunglasses.

Birds of a Feather

Two Mondays ago, Abby's playgroup went on a field trip to the Bob Jones Nature Center in Southlake.  We had a class on birds, took a little hike and then ate a picnic lunch.  The activities were right up her alley.
Check out this bird nest and egg.

Little Leprechauns

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  Brent and I moved boxes all day to our storage unit, but our little leprechauns had a fun St. Patrick's Day with Nonnie, Pops and Little Bubba.

The toy store had coloring and cookies to decorate.
They also tried out the new sweet spot in town.

We're Moving!

Brent and I have had our sights on Southlake and a bigger house for a while now, and finally decided to make a move.  It happened much faster than we anticipated.  Our house sold the first day on the market!  To make a long story short, the house we had our eye on was sold before we could make an offer and we are house hunting at the moment.  We close on this house April 6th and will stay at my brother's house and with Nonnie and Pops until we find a house or rent something for a few months.
The girls have had fun with the boxes . . .
  . . . and the bubblewrap.

They found these caps while packing up Caroline's room and decided to have a tea party on a box in the den.
I think I've got the cutest little packers in town!

"Hippity, Hoppity, Easter's on Its Way!"

The girls have really enjoyed decorating for Easter and had fun dying eggs with Momo while she was here.

Green is still Abby's favorite color.  When asked, Caroline says her favorite is yellow.

They dyed more eggs with GiGi and PawPaw.  Our house is decked out!

Congratulations, Courtney!

Brent and I had so much fun at Courtney's wedding a few weekends ago.  It was in Fort Worth.  We made a big night of it and stayed downtown in a hotel.  Courtney was a beautiful bride!

"Can you tell me how to get . . . .

. .how to get to Sesame Street?"  Two weekends ago, GiGi and PawPaw came to town and spent the night with Abby and Caroline, while Brent and I were at a wedding in Fort Worth.  They took the girls to the Elmo Show.  This was Caroline's first show.  They said she gave it her full attention and enjoyed every minute.
This girl doesn't ever want to miss a thing.

The girls came away with light up toys and gigantic balloons.
