Pumpkin Fest

Abby's school had Pumpkin Fest yesterday afternoon. It was a fun family activity. Caroline stayed with Nonnie and Pops while Abby enjoyed some alone time with Mommy and Daddy. We took our own pumpkin to carve.

Abby helps Daddy.

Scooping out the seeds.

She was scared of the live scarecrow. I tried to get her to sit next to him, but this was as close as she got.
We talked about riding the pony for two days and Abby was very excited to try it. After waiting in a 15 minute line, Abby mounted the pony and decided this experience was not for her. The story does not end there. As we walked away, she stopped and said "Pony, shoot!" She was so exasperated and was motioning with her hands. It was sad. She wanted to ride it, but just couldn't muster up enough courage. Maybe next year!

Bubba's Birthday

Abby's Uncle Bubba had a birthday yesterday. As you can see in this picture, Abby really got into the celebration. She is all about presents. Bubba had lots of help. I can't wait to see her in a few weeks at her own birthday party.

Bubba got some nutcrakers for his house. Mom and I wanted him to have some Christmas decor. Abby loved these.

"I'll take that cupcake right there."

"Creamy and cupcakes, my fav."

Can't Wait for Frosted Flakes!

Caroline tried her first cereal this week. Although it is not as tasty as the cereal Abby eats, she did quite well after a few feedings. She still wakes up around 4 most mornings, so I'm hoping cereal will help to eliminate that feeding. She smiled and laughed so much the first couple of meals, not much of the cereal was actually swallowed.
Check out these blue eyes!

Dragon Fever

We went to my cousin's football game last night. He plays on the JV team for Southlake. We made it through the whole first half. Go Andersons! Abby meets the mascot. She acted a little fightened but wanted to see him throughout the game.Abby takes a pic with some of my mom's former students. She felt like a big girl and loved their attention. Miss Independence-Trying her hardest to sit in the fold down seat by herself.
Caroline enjoyed her first ballgame.

Happiest Baby on the Block

Aunt Mary takes Abby and Mickey to see the dragon again.

Daddy and Caroline cheer for Jake. He had some good tackles.

"Yay, Creamy!"

Last weekend, GiGi came to keep the girls while Brent and I went to the Arkansas/A&M game. Friday night we went to Town Square and had Abby's favorite, "creamy."

"I'm going to see how far I can stick out my bottom lip."
Open Wide!

Abby checks out the fountain.

When a two year old investigates, they must touch.
Taking a stroll around the square. The weather was so nice.

Room for One More?

Some of you might have just gotten excited thinking we might be having another baby to put in this stroller. Not going to happen. I think our hands are full with these two. I was referring to all of Abby's people. Every morning when we go on our walk, she tries to see how many people she can bring along. I was having a weak moment this day and she got away with bringing three. Her characters, animals and babies are becoming more precious to her every day and they go many places with us. You should see her little bed at night! She is hilarious arranging them all. She barely fits in the bed! Caroline-"Oh brother! If she brings any more of these funny looking people, where am I going to sit?"

Picking Out Pansies

We went to The Plant Shed on Sunday and picked out pansies. Abby thought this was so much fun. "Where have they taken me now?"

Abby has a type A personality. She likes everything sorted and arranged a certain way. Here she is organizing the flowers.

She especially liked being pushed around on the big cart.

Abby shows Caroline her flower.

Oktoberfest

Nonnie and I took the girls to Oktoberfest in Southlake Town Square this weekend. We dressed them up in some of their Halloween outfits for the occasion. They definitely turned heads in their little tutus.Never a dull moment. Abby jumps up to check out something and Caroline is excited by the birds in the trees.

Two Big Grins

My precious little pumpkin was all smiles.

Abby eats her "cheese"(grilled cheese) at Five Guys.

Nonnie and Abby watch the weiner dog races.Abby meets one of the weiner dogs. There were hundreds of them and many were dressed up in costumes. Hilarious!
Abby decides to wear her witch hat. To our surprise, she rode around with it on for quite a while.
