NASA

One weekend in March, we headed to the NASA Space Center in Houston.  We gave GiGi and PawPaw tickets for their birthdays in February.  None of us had ever been and we were excited to check it out!
We were glad we took the tram tour.  It was very interesting and we learned a lot.
Mission Control- This was my favorite part of the tour.
The little speaker on the right was where the first and last words on the moon were heard.  The first words were: "Houston, Tranqility Base here. The Eagle has landed."
The last words were: "We're headed home, Houston."

Touching a Piece of the Moon

It was a fun and interesting day! We were already looking forward to the next adventure, Fossil Rim!  Stay tuned for pics!
