Memorial Day and Momo's Birthday

We dressed in our red, white and blue for church to celebrate Memorial Day.

 There is so much drama during photo taking these days.

 Abby and Caroline can go from crying and whining one moment to silly faces the next.

After church, we had Momo's birthday lunch.

 We were so glad Momo was in town for our many celebrations!

All our family came back to the house for lasagna and present opening.

 The girls set a new record.  They had all the presents opened in no time!

Little Bubba gave us a night at The Great Wolf Lodge.  Looking forward to going in late July!

 Let the entertainment begin!  We are having fun with some new toys as summer kicks off!

Happy Birthday, Caroline!

After the recital, we went home for lunch and a quick nap and then we were off to Little Gym for Caroline's 3rd Birthday Bash!  She wanted a princess theme.

 Abby practiced her new gymnastics "tricks."

 This was my favorite part of the party.  We sang "Happy Birthday" to Caroline while she sat in the middle of the parachute as it went round and round.

 A Pinata wrapped up the party!  Bats are not allowed at The Little Gym, but we had fun pulling the strings.  It was the perfect party for this little princess!

Memorial Day Weekend was full of big events for us!  First up on the agenda was our dance recital.  It was quite a production!

 Abby liked wearing make up.

 They did some coloring, while waiting for their number.

 

 Caroline's Dance was a ballet number to "The Candy Man Can."

 When she saw me right after her dance, she said, "get this off!"

 Her costume was not comfortable and she screamed when we put it on backstage.

 Abby's dance was a tap number to "A, You're Adorable."

Abby and Caroline had a big audience and the men showered them with flowers after their performances.

 

Tea Party

Wow! Time got away from me!  Time to catch up on all our happenings.  Back in early May we had Dylan and Presley over for a tea party.  Abby and Caroline really got into setting the table and preparing the snacks and "tea."
