Party Time

Caroline waited all summer for her bounce house birthday party.  She finally recovered from her mono and we were able to have it several weekends ago,  Lots of friends came and she had a blast!

Meet the Teacher and First Day of School 2017

Meet the Teacher- We were excited to see friends and the girls were excited to meet their teachers.
Ms. Blackburn- Abby's homeroom teacher has been at Carroll a long time and Nonnie has known her for years.  She switches teachers for Language Arts and Social Studies.  Stay tuned for a picture of Mrs. Cochran.
Mrs. Ryon -Caroline's teacher is my neighbor in the first grade hall.  It is fun to have them next door.
The girls enjoyed seeing friends.
First Day of Third Grade- Wow!
First Day of First Grade- I can't believe it!

I love my team!  We get along really well!

Miss Moore and Mrs. Lasater came by to get a hug.

Although Caroline missed some days and attended half days while recooperating from mono, we've had a smooth, happy start to the year!

August Snapshots

Before school started, we had lots of friends over!  One afternoon, the girls each took a friend to see the emoji movie.
The girls plan lots of activities when friends come over.  They baked in the easy bake oven and created spin art pictures.

This day we made ice cream!
I had some teachers over for brunch.  Abby's second grade teacher brought her baby.

August also meant shopping for school clothes and . . .

. . .using our Six Flags Read to Succeed tickets.

The girls like going on the little rides alone.

They enjoyed some tennis lessons until Caroline came down with mono.  We will pick them up again when it cools off.

We helped Josh and Jake celebrate their birthdays and . . .
. . . loved our pedicures the day before I went back to work.

We finished August with a trip to Cabella's one Saturday. Even though Caroline battled mono toward the end of August, we had a fun last month of summer.  We were sad to see it end!
