Valentine Fun

We went as a family to the Southlake Valentine Dance the weekend before Valentine's Day.  The girls had so many friends there.  This will definitely be an annual event for us as we had so much fun.
We ate a burger at Five Guys before the big dance at City Hall.  They were excited to see Hayden and Joel.
 Cinderella was at the ball.
If there is a craft, Abby and Caroline will find it!  They are decorating candy boxes to fill at the candy bar in this pic.
The tickets included free limo rides around the square.
This was their first limo ride.
They got their groove on with Presley and Dylan.
Daddy had to get out on the floor when the DJ played "My Girl."

They twirled until they fell down.  I have never seen Caroline and Abby giggle so much!

Caroline discovered Hawaiian Punch.  It is a new favorite!

We were going out of town before Valentine's Day, so we had our annual spaghetti picnic a few nights early.

Nonnie helped the girls make homemade Valentine cards for everyone.  They were so excited to pass them out and very proud to have a surprise for us.
The Valentine Festivities weren't over yet!  The next two days we celebrated at choir and then again at school.  These pics are from the school parties.  Both classes played Valentine Bingo.  Pics of their classmates were on the bingo board.  We were in Spring on Valentine's Day.  Stay tuned for more pics!

A Sunday Afternoon Outing

A few weekends ago, Caroline had a birthday party for a friend in her dance class.  She was very excited to go to a pottery place and paint this rabbit.  Abby has had so many birthday parties to attend as most of her friends have fall birthdays.  It is fun to see Caroline's social calendar fill up.  She has made sweet friends in her dance class this year.

Abby and Daddy had a date at Yogurtland and Barnes and Noble.

Great Wolf Lodge 2014

Abby and Caroline were thrilled to finally go on Abby's birthday trip to the Great Wolf Lodge.  Little Bubba could not disappoint when she started saying in November she couldn't wait to go.  She just knew we would get another stay there since we got one for Caroline's last birthday.

Off to the Waterpark

We met some wolf friends along the way.

The logs and beavers were a favorite again!

Abby tried going across hanging on to the ropes above like the big kids.  She has gotten very bold and likes to try new challenges.

Dumping Buckets from Way Up High

 Abby likes this ride.
 Wave Pool
Abby and Caroline stayed in the wave pool for long periods of time.

The Lazy River is not very lazy.
This princess brought the tea party to our cabin and  . . .

 . . .to the waterpark.
Abby is in the pink robe at the front.  She was so brave and wanted to take a turn playing charades in front of this huge crowd.  They were acting out animals and she was a bunny.

Abby and Caroline have both had a birthday trip to The Great Wolf Lodge and we made fun memories!  I think we will wait until they are much older to go again and perhaps take friends.  It will be new all over again when they are old enough to do all the slides and the scavenger hunt around the hotel.  It is definitely a fun place to go for the young and the old!  It brought back fond memories of White Water and Wet 'n Wild for Brent and me.  We enjoyed reminiscing when we got home and hope the girls remember these times.
