Happy New Year!

The girls kicked off New Year's Eve with a treasure hunt Nonnie and Pops set up.  They love dressing as Rapunzel these days.

The treasure was a chest of New Year's Eve noisemakers.
Little Bubba and Pops smoked ribs and pork for dinner and then we rang in 2015 early so the girls could keep their bedtime schedule.  They toasted with pink lemonade and strawberry milk and we had a London countdown to watch.  Cheers to 2015!  It's going to be another great year!

Welcome to the World!

The morning after Christmas, we headed to the hospital in Houston to see our newest cousin.  Carter was glad to see Abby and Caroline.
They were excited to give him big brother presents.

They got down to business with the presents in the waiting room.
After awhile, Grayson was rolled down the hall and we got to take a peek.
Caroline was front and center.  His oxygen levels were a little low so he spent a couple of days in the NICU.  We are happy to report he and Haley went home three days later and are both doing great!

Checking Out the Nursery

We waited a little longer to see Aunt Haley after she was in her own room and then went to lunch and The American Girl store in the adjoining mall.

After all the baby excitement, we spent the afternoon in Spring playing.
The girls attempted to teach Carter freeze tag. He got the tag part, but they'll have to work on the freezing part.

Christmas Celebrations: Take Four

After seeing what Santa brought on Christmas morning, we were on the road again!

We arrived in Katy for our Anderson Christmas celebration before lunch.  Carter greeted the girls with hugs and lots of excitement!

The kids opened one present while waiting to eat.  Abby and Caroline were glad to get some needed supplies for their Easy Bake Oven and Baby Alive Dolls.

Ready to Chow Down
Abby, Caroline and Carter watched some of Frozen while the grown ups finished eating.
 Present Time
Yay, another Little House book to add to our collection.
The American Girls and their pets hit the jackpot.

 Spa Fun

Abby and Caroline wanted to see if their hands had grown since this summer when we made these stepping stones.

Brent went to First Baptist Grand Prairie and retrieved a Hymnal, a piece of stain glass and some bricks with the Anderson name on them for GiGi and PawPaw.  The church is moving and they were surprised and excited to get this memorabilia.

Abby and Caroline were also excited to get their initial to add to their charm bracelet.

We all enjoyed seeing baby clothes Aunt Haley opened.  Grayson was coming the next day!  Caroline helped me pick out these matching shirts for the boys.

It was a fun afternoon and after some playtime with new toys, we headed to Spring to get some rest for the upcoming day.
