Thanksgiving: Parts II and III

Thanksgiving Day we went to Uncle Tommy's house in Bullard to have Thanksgiving lunch with Nonnie's side of the family. We didn't need to bring our toys, Aunt Lynn had a toy chest. Abby loved this truck and with Bubba and Pops helping, found lots to do with it.First, they had fun rolling it down the loungers. Abby crosses her arms (in pic below) and does a big laugh now when something is funny. Then, they rolled it down the stairs. This smile is the result of the truck making a big crash into the wall below. What fun!If there is a pool and Abby is around, it must be cleaned. She loves scooping out the leaves and checking the filter.
It's her way or the highway. She must touch the pole!
These girls just don't get enough attention! When we are with family, they are used to having at least two people tending to them most of the time. It is a shock when we get home and they are stuck with just me until Daddy gets home.Caroline observes the turkey being carved. Yum!

Yes, Abby had lots to do! She also found Ashley's guitar,

After lunch, we headed to Spring for our third Thanksgiving get-together with Brent's family. We stayed there through the weekend. PawPaw took Abby and her people to the playground a few times.
Good Morning Sunshine! Yeah! I've got another girl that leaves on her hats and bows.
Rock-a-Bye Baby: Uncle Phil gets cuddle time with Caroline.
"You are funny, Aunt Haley."Caroline tried carrots for Thanksgiving. She wasn't sure what to think at first, but warmed up to them.

The lips say it all. What a pout!
