Happy Birthday, Nonnie!
We celebrated my mom's birthday Friday night. Abby helped bake the cake and had been waiting all day to blow out the candles. It was everything she thought it would be.Abby was Nonnie's big helper opening presents. She would hand her a gift partially unwrapped and then grab another one and start ripping into it.

Bravo, Barney!
GiGi and PawPaw came this weekend to keep the girls while Brent and I went to the Cotton Bowl. Although the Ags didn't win, we had a fun time. I enjoyed our kid free outing and did not bother with the camera.
Abby had her big day on Saturday. GiGi, Paw Paw and Daddy took her to The Barney Show. They said Abby sat entranced with the show. She had to have this balloon at intermission.

Abby's Serenade
I have tried and tried to get Abby singing some songs on video and she will not cooperate. I finally got her singing while she rolled around on the carpet. Enjoy!

Christmas Continued
After our Christmas Eve in Bay City, we went on to GiGi and PawPaw's in Spring. We stayed three nights and had more good company, food and present opening. I also had fun with Brent's sister, Haley, the day after Christmas. We went on our annual early morning shopping trip. I can't stay in bed when I know stores are open with bargains.
Dressed in their plaid and ready to open presents.
Abby served Brent's Aunt Lin food all day. She must have eaten 50 hotdogs.
Abby got a doctor kit from GiGi and PawPaw. She was funny checking everyone's heartbeat. She was listening to Caroline's leg in this pic. Abby-"Hello. Thank you Santa Claus. Bye."
We told her to call Santa and thank him for the presents and she did.
Aunt Haley made sure Caroline got a sheep pillow pet this year.
Abby and Caroline gave PawPaw princess fishing rods so they can fish in the neighborhood lake when they come to visit. Abby caught on fast and was good at reeling in the line by the last day of our visit.
Santa Claus
I was so focused on watching Abby's reaction and getting video on the video camera, I only got a few pics of Christmas morning. More pics to come later of Abby's "pink chichen." She was overwhelmed when she walked in the living room and saw everything. The rockin croc was definitely a hit.Caroline got a new doll.

14 adults, 1 toddler, 1 baby and 2 dogs . . .
. . .equals a fun family get together. After having Christmas for two years in Southlake, my mom's side of the family decided to have it at Momo's again. It was like old times. People slept anywhere and everywhere, we played games and the guys built a fire outside one night. It was a good time. After church on Christmas Eve, we did the big family present opening. Caroline was very interested in her nursery rhyme bear and snowglobe Momo gave her.
Daddy, Caroline and Abby play with the new cupcake stand.
All dressed up to go to church on Christmas Eve!
Family picture with Momo
Abby really got into the present opening this year.
Abby counts to 10 while playing hide and seek with Pops.
She would shout, "Ready not, here I come."
"I know you are under there Pops. I see your feet."Caroline had fun with her playmate, Cousin Ashley.
The Fire-The guys wanted to build a fire on the beach, but the sand was too soft for us to drive on and there was no drift wood to burn. So they improvised and bought a fire pit at Walmart. I think they had just as much fun on the back patio. They were out there for hours.
