Bay City, Bowling and a Bounce House

September weekends were filled with a trip to Bay City, our first bowling experience and bounce house fun!  We also went on our first campout, but that adventure will have its own post.
One of our favorite things to do at the beach is eat fried chicken!

We busted out the boogie boards this time.

Big Bubba's family was there and he got into some serious sand castle building with Abby.
He also tried to bury her, but it didn't go further than her sitting in the hole.
Sitting in the Surf with Pops
A trench was built to fill up the moat.

We also visited the children's museum in Bay City.  It is set up like a little town.
We had it all to ourselves!

They love to dance around on this stage.

Little Bubba entertained the girls with some computer games.  Remember Zelda?
The next weekend, we had big fun while Daddy was on his hunting trip.  Saturday, Pops got us tickets to the Plano Hot Air Balloon Festival but, after sitting in traffic for a good while, we decided to turn in to a Main Event and give bowling a whirl.  That turned out to be a great decision, because later we heard the balloons didn't go up due to wind.

As you can see, it was a hit!  Abby is blurry in all of my pics because she was jumping up and down with excitement every time she rolled the ball.
Both girls used this metal contraption most of the time.  I hadn't been bowling in so long, I didn't know it existed.
After each sister would take a turn, they would stand and watch the ball until it reached the pins.
Tollie stayed with us that weekend.  The girls love having her around!

Sunday, Nonnie and Pops got a bounce house and they each invited a new friend from school to come jump.

Little Bubba got in on some of the jumping action.
