Last weekend, our egg hunts were rained out, so we dyed eggs instead.
It was a fun rainy day activity.Daddy got in on the action and dried our "shrinkies" for us.
Abby and Caroline had to use some patience.
Our Finished Product
We also painted Rechenka's Eggs. I always enjoy reading that book to the girls and thought it would be fun to paint some of our own eggs.
One evening this week, we went to the nursery to buy shrubs. We lost quite a few this winter. The girls had fun on the cart.
We also had some painters in the house. Abby and Caroline sat and watched them for quite a while. At one point, Caroline started telling the painter "You are almost finished. Keep going. Good job." He didn't say a word, but would smile at her every once in a while. I don't think he was used to hearing these encouraging words as he worked.
The weather here is hot one day and freezing the next. We had to bundle up for our Blast Ball game last week. Caroline and her friend had fun with the cones.
Waiting to Bat
Abby played parachute games with the other siblings during the game.
She also cheered for her sister. She was thrilled our neighbor gave us this Dragon cheerleader uniform. My phone is cutting heads off, but you get the idea.
Abby and Caroline continue to learn lots at museum school. They posed for me last week with a raccoon mask and an abstract painting of a cactus.
This is our "royal cow." Little Bubba brought it from the Tillamook Cheese Factory in Oregon. Caroline sleeps with it and takes it almost everywhere these days. This cow always travels in her cheese house which also doubles as a purse.
