Snow Days

Wow! We have had so much snow this winter!  Last week, school was called off two days and we had a late day. Another round at the end of the week caused early dismissal!  It didn't end there!  We had another four inches of snow last night following some sleet.  We are home again today!  This morning we built a Rapunzel Snowman.
She turned out a lot better than our snow blob last week.

Today's snow was perfect for playing and building.  Caroline was very focused on her snowballs.

We had some glove drama at one point.
 Snow Angels

Our neighbor popped up over the fence to say Hello.  The girls get excited every time she appears.
The pics below are from the first day of snow last week.  We got excited and headed out while the snow was still really coming down and didn't last 15 minutes.
The snow was pretty, but did not stick well.

After we were out there for a few minutes, Caroline just plopped down and started making a snow angel.  She got the idea from Little House on the Prairie.

Abby couldn't decide if she wanted to make a snow angel, but gave in and made one as fast as she could.

Caroline also wanted to throw snowballs.

After we got our little munchkin built, we called it a day and hurried inside for some heat.

All of these days inside meant time for lots of games.

The streets improved enough last Saturday for Abby's school to hold their fundraiser at the Southlake Hilton.  Brent and I enjoyed getting out while Nonnie, Pops and Little Bubba had movie night with Abby and Caroline. We've enjoyed the excitement of these winter storms, but we are very ready for spring weather!  Bring on the sunshine! This crew is ready to swim!
