Pics with the Finished Product- Abby gets frustrated with Caroline's posing lately, so we opted for individual shots.
Friday, the girls had school and GiGi and PawPaw used the tickets we gave them Christmas to visit the Bush library. Saturday began our marathon of events. We got going early with the annual Eggstravaganza at church.
Abby and Caroline never get tired of pony rides, games or egg hunts. They want to do it all!
Rub on Tattoos
After lunch at home, we were off to American Airlines Center in Dallas for Disney on Ice.
GiGi and PawPaw got the girls a new friend to hold during the show.
We had never been to an ice capades show and really enjoyed it. It was even better because it was the whole story of Frozen with all our favorite songs.
The girls did not take their eyes off the show and did not want to leave one second early.
Yummy snacks always make the shows more fun.
Caroline asked several times for this snow cone. I couldn't resist and surprised them at intermission with two messy treats in very special plastic cups. Although they didn't eat much of the snowcones, the cups are used on a daily basis.
Sunday morning we were back at church for the Palm Sunday Procession and brunch. We tried really hard to get some good family pics, but the sun and wind made it hard.
Sunday afternoon, GiGi and PawPaw headed home and we attended our neighborhood Egg Hunt. Nonnie and Pops came early and stayed late to watch the girls while Brent and I helped a neighbor and friend set up and take down everything. They were glad to see the girls a bit before leaving the next day for a two week trip to Europe. It was a fun, exciting weekend! We slept good Sunday night! I don't think we could've squeezed one more activity into those two days.
