Christmas Eve

We had a full day Christmas Eve.  Abby and Caroline baked cookies for Santa a few days before and decorated them Christmas Eve morning.

We dressed up and went to the afternoon candlelight service at our church.
The girls were hams posing for me.  Sometimes they are not in the mood for one picture and other times they enjoy it and don't want to stop.

Our church was packed! We got there early, but the big sanctuary was already full.  We ended up watching the service from the fellowship hall.  It was inspirational to see so many people there. When we left people were lined up out the door for the next service.

After church, we had our traditional Italian dinner and gifts with Nonnie, Pops and Little Bubba.
The girls couldn't wait for Callie to open the Aggie bandana.
Abby and Caroline absolutely love giving their gifts to each other first.
Caroline was thrilled with the Descendant microphone and Darth Vader figure Abby picked for her.

Abby was excited about her pillow craft and loved the Palace Pet book so much she started reading it right then.  Caroline spotted that book at her book fair back in November and immediately said she had to get it for Abby.

Nonnie and Pops gave them the Nutcrackers they had been eyeing at our dance studio.
The head massager the girls picked out for Pops was a hit.

Brent and I gave the girls these moon boots to wear over their dance shoes.  They asked for them back in September and were very excited to finally have some.

The American girls hit the jackpot again this year with bunk beds, clothes and a new pet.  It was a fun night and we still had Santa and two more family celebrations to look forward to in the coming days!  Stay tuned!
