I blinked and half of summer was over! The girls had a blast at VBS! The theme this year was Deep Sea Discovery.
I worked in snacks this year and got to see Abby and Caroline each day as their group rotated through the fellowship hall.
They liked the hot dog cut like an octopus.
Nonnie and I hosted a Sip and See for a family friend and the girls were great help getting our house ready. They had fun singing "It's a Hard Knock Life" as they swept the porch.
Aunt Paula sent Caroline paper dolls for her birthday. We had fun with them one day while Abby was having her piano lesson.Riding Scooters Down to a Friend's House
Playdate- Making Cake Balls in the Easy Bake Oven
Our neighborhood had a Flag Day parade and pool party, complete with the ice cream truck.
Our neighbors have a bicycle built for two.
We loved seeing Dory with our church.
We also couldn't wait more than a day to see The Secret Life of Pets when it came out.
Nonnie came to watch the show off dances on the last day.
Abby and Caroline enjoy the drum program at the library every summer.
GiGi and PawPaw came to visit and took the girls for lunch, roller skating and Rita's one day while I did some shopping at Teacher's Tools. I am going back to work this fall! We are all excited! I will be teaching first grade at my old school, Carroll Elementary, in my old room. The girls will go there with me.
PawPaw took some video of the girls skating.
This past Monday they had fun painting a squirrel and dog at Sunshine Glaze with one of our neighbors. We are having a great summer! Stay tuned for more pics of our other trips.
