December Snapshots

The day after we got back from New York, we kicked off the holiday season in Southlake with Abby's school choir. They went caroling at The Square.
Caroline joined in for a few of the songs.
Look who stopped by on his way home from work!

Caroline was excited to make her debut on the morning announcements at school one day.

Our elves had some fun in the new house.

Caroline decorated the playroom tree one afternoon.  She was proud of her work!

Momo stayed with us a couple of nights during her stay in Southlake.  She taught the girls to play Solitaire a while back and they will play and play when she is with them.
I put them to work stuffing and stamping Christmas cards.

Cheers to Momo

They always get excited for their first gift (the presents they pick for each other)!
 New Sleeping Bags
We gave Momo a book I found in Matagorda about all the people who lived there years ago.  She found many old friends and acquaintances in it!
Little Bubba and Samantha surprised the girls with Laser Tag.
This cute couple was ecstatic with the gadgets they gave one another.

 Nonnie made Grinch drinks.

Nonnie and Pops gave the girls pinata bats they got in Mexico.  They are exactly like one Ryan got from Momo and Popo when they lived there years ago.

That night, Santa Claus came!

 The Anderson Family Christmas
Abby hit the jack pot with a whole set of Nancy Drew books.
The American Girl dolls have had lots of new adventures with the gifts from GiGi and PawPaw.

Caroline and Abby were excited their cousins gave them accessories for their new rooms.
Grayson was in love with his new cowboy boots . . .
. . . and Avery was in love with her dress up shoes.

Time for some entertainment!  The girls had fun performing their magic tricks.

The next day we helped Grayson celebrate his 4th birthday!

We spent many days during the break on walks and scooter rides exploring trails in our new neighborhood.

One day Pops took the girls for their hair trims, manicures and lunch while Nonnie and I did some shopping.

We celebrated New Year's Eve with games, laser tag, confetti poppers and the Aggie Game!

Cheers to 2019!
