Christmas Continued
After our Christmas Eve in Bay City, we went on to GiGi and PawPaw's in Spring. We stayed three nights and had more good company, food and present opening. I also had fun with Brent's sister, Haley, the day after Christmas. We went on our annual early morning shopping trip. I can't stay in bed when I know stores are open with bargains.
Dressed in their plaid and ready to open presents.
Abby served Brent's Aunt Lin food all day. She must have eaten 50 hotdogs.
Abby got a doctor kit from GiGi and PawPaw. She was funny checking everyone's heartbeat. She was listening to Caroline's leg in this pic.
Abby-"Hello. Thank you Santa Claus. Bye."
Aunt Haley made sure Caroline got a sheep pillow pet this year.
Abby and Caroline gave PawPaw princess fishing rods so they can fish in the neighborhood lake when they come to visit. Abby caught on fast and was good at reeling in the line by the last day of our visit.
Santa Claus
I was so focused on watching Abby's reaction and getting video on the video camera, I only got a few pics of Christmas morning. More pics to come later of Abby's "pink chichen." She was overwhelmed when she walked in the living room and saw everything. The rockin croc was definitely a hit.
Caroline got a new doll.

14 adults, 1 toddler, 1 baby and 2 dogs . . .
. . .equals a fun family get together. After having Christmas for two years in Southlake, my mom's side of the family decided to have it at Momo's again. It was like old times. People slept anywhere and everywhere, we played games and the guys built a fire outside one night. It was a good time. After church on Christmas Eve, we did the big family present opening.
Caroline was very interested in her nursery rhyme bear and snowglobe Momo gave her.
Daddy, Caroline and Abby play with the new cupcake stand.
All dressed up to go to church on Christmas Eve!
Family picture with Momo
Abby really got into the present opening this year.
Abby counts to 10 while playing hide and seek with Pops.
She would shout, "Ready not, here I come."
"I know you are under there Pops. I see your feet."
Caroline had fun with her playmate, Cousin Ashley.
The Fire-The guys wanted to build a fire on the beach, but the sand was too soft for us to drive on and there was no drift wood to burn. So they improvised and bought a fire pit at Walmart. I think they had just as much fun on the back patio. They were out there for hours.
Out to Lunch
Last week, before we left for our big Christmas trip, Nonnie and Pops treated us to lunch at Snuffers. Abby enjoyed sitting out on the patio. If we are in the car or outside, she must have her sunglasses. I left them at home this day, so Pops took Abby to Gymboree to pick out a new pair. This girly girl was in her element!

Northpark or The North Pole?
I took my little elves to Northpark yesterday with Nonnie and Pops. I wanted their picture with Santa in their PJs. You would have thought we were trying to see Santa at the North Pole. 300 tickets were passed out before 11:30 and we were told to come back at 7pm for the evening tickets. We passed on that option, but did have so much fun doing some other things there.
Abby liked wearing her PJs so much, we decided to let both the girls wear them the rest of the trip. It was hilarious. Pops took Abby through the Ronald McDonald miniature train exhibit. The nice lady taking tickets let me go in for a minute to snap some pictures.

Abby was in awe. She didn't know what to think of so many trains.
The Thomas train was her favorite. Pops had to bribe her to leave with promises to go see the ducks and turtles in the fountain.
