Waiting for Caroline

Abby had lots of attention while waiting for her little sister to arrive. Camped Out

"Wow! Who should I take a bite from next? I've had two people feeding me before, but never three."

Abby went on lots of car rides up and down the halls.

Taking Giant Steps with her Bubba.
"Vrooom!"

Abby hit the jack pot the day Caroline arrived.

Sweet Caroline

Our newest little princess has arrived! Caroline was born this past Thursday, June 10th, at 6:14 pm. She weighed 8lbs 3 ounces and was 21 inches long. We came home Saturday evening and everyone is doing great. I will post more pics as things calm down and I get some rest. Caroline likes to keep me awake all night.

Happy Birthday to Thomas!

Abby had a blast at her first real birthday party. This was the first time she was old enough at a party to interact. Abby sits on the bounce house with the birthday boy! Thomas is Kristin's son. She was a Zeta at A&M with me and a very dear friend. You have seen this handsome dude in pics before. He is usually at all of our big events. He became a big brother a few days ago! Congratulations!! Abby couldn't shoot baskets, but enjoyed taking all the balls out.
She loved the birthday cake! After she ate her piece and went back to playing, she walked back to the cake room saying "cake, cake!"
I think Thomas liked the cake too!
Checking out the caterpillar tunnel
Group Pic-The only way Abby would sit there was to have her paci in her mouth.
This was hilarious! Abby tried to get in these little cars and take a ride. She kept sticking her foot in the sunroof of this bug.
She did manage to sit in the dump truck.

Her favorite, the roller coaster

Momo and Memorial Day

We had a fun Memorial Day! Holly sent Abby these sunglasses. They were a hit! She loves her accessories. Abby ate a fudge pop while we ate Momo's birthday cake. Messy, but yummy!

Happy birthday, Momo!

Singing and Candles- Abby was interested.

"The cake looks interesting, but I might try to get my hands on those glasses on the table."

Helping Momo with her Presents

Abby wanted to take this present home. A Big Girl Purse
Ready to swim in her water wings. Nonnie and Pops have a safety fence around the pool now. It has been a lifesaver when trying to keep up with this on the go toddler. We started a new rule this weekend. Before Abby can go inside the fence, she must have on her water wings . It worked great and she caught right on. She didn't mind them at all. In fact, I think she liked them. Just another accessory for this girly girl!
Watching Daddy, Pops and Bubba jump from the waterfall

Abby's marina also opened this weekend. All kinds of fun!

Happy Birthday, Grandmother!

We celebrated my grandmother's 87th birthday while she was in town this weekend. Her real birthday is next week. Who knows? Caroline might share it with her. Abby checks out the candles.
Abby likes to pile everything on her bed or her little table in the den.

Abby was a good hostess. She showed Grandmother every book and toy she owns. The minute she saw she had a visitor, she began dragging it all out.

Her Bubba played house with her. He tickled her through the mailbox. She giggled uncontrollably.

"She wore an itsy bitsy, teeny weeny . . ."

. . .blue bikini. Summer has arrived and Abby loves her backyard. She sits at her picnic table to blow bubbles. Hard at work in her sandbox

"Are my bubbles in here?"

Abby is all girl. She loves wearing hats, sunglasses and her favorite, the pink bracelet. She wears it from sun up to sun down.

"Just one second. Let me get my sunglasses back on."

"Ahoy Mate!"

"I think I can have some serious fun in this pool.""O.K. I have my hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and pelican pitcher. And of course I have my pink bracelet. Now, where is Mommy?""Mommy, hurry up!"

I was applying my own sunscreen. It was quite a process to get outside the first time we swam in Abby's pool. And yes, I got in the baby pool. It is way too hot to not get wet.
