Between birthday parties and Chirstmas celebrations, Abby and Caroline had an event on the calendar almost every day the week before Christmas. They had a little party at the end of their dance class.

School PartiesThey asked if a mom would read a story to the class. I was excited to relive my teaching days for a few minutes. I read The Christmas Story to Caroline's class and took our wooden nativity. The kids had fun adding the pieces to the manger as I read.

Abby made a snowman at her party.

She also wrote a letter to Santa.

Decorating Cookies-Abby can't ever get enough "frostin."
Abby had a little choir concert at church last Wednesday night.
Abby had serious doubts about participating in the program as we were getting ready to leave our house that night. She said she would do it if I promised to buy her a McDonald's breakfast burrito the next day. We had a deal. I was proud of her for following through with it. This was her first time to be in front of a big audience. She did fine until a very active little boy behind her bopped her on the head before the last song. She ran to me and sang the last song from the audience.

After they sang, they had a little party. Caroline got to join in. She can't wait to be in the choir next year. She is always singing and knew all the songs in the program. Stay tuned for video of the songs. I am having trouble getting them off my new camera.
Saturday, we went to a Pinkalicious Holiday play. We were going to take Momo, but she came down with something and was still in Bay City. Pops enjoyed using her ticket and taking all his girls to the show.
The Girls with Pinkalicious
It was a fun week of activities. We also went to a party in Flower Mound and saw all my old teacher friends, but I didn't get any pictures. We were in "Breakable Territory" so I stuck close to Abby and Caroline.
