School Celebrations

Between Abby's birthday, a five day trip, Thanksgiving, decorating for Christmas, and a lot of sickness, I fell way behind on my posts.  When I finally sat down to catch up, Google notified me that my blog was full and I had no more space.  After days of trying to purchase more space, I finally got my computer to cooperate.  So . . .here goes!  It is catch up time.
The week before Thanksgiving, Abby had her birthday celebration at school with three other classmates who had birthdays the same week.
She was so excited about this pink birthday badge.  She let me know the morning of the party that she couldn't wait to wear her special ribbon.  Evidently, another child brought one from home on her birthday.  Of course, I had to run to Walmart and grab one for her and three for the other boys before party time.  I couldn't stand for her to be disappointed.  It was worth it.  She slept with it on her nightstand for a week.

The same week, both girls had their Thanksgiving Feast.  Here they are dressed up before school.
Parents are asked not to attend, but I was asked to help set up, so I got to see part of the feast.
All dressed up and ready to chow down!
I got to set up Caroline's feast, but the moms left before it started.  If two year olds see Mom, they may shed tears when she leaves.  They dressed as pilgrims.  I got this pic of Caroline in her bonnet when she got home.
