The Nutcracker

Abby and Caroline had an exciting fall practicing for their debut in The Nutcracker.  International Ballet Theater is now a part of our studio in Southlake and performed The Nutcracker for the first time.  They practiced weekly beginning in September and had two performances at The Irving Arts Center the first week in December.  It took a lot of dedication, but the girls really enjoyed it and made lots of new friends.  They were both angels and polichinelles.
We spent lots of time in the dressing room!
Waiting Backstage

I don't have a ton of pics from the actual performance because I was backstage, but, Pops, Nonnie and Little Bubba got some.

Dance friends in our regular classes and school came to see the performances.

 PawPaw wanted his program autographed.

 Backstage Fun

After the evening performance, the cast got to stay on stage and play in the snow.  It was a memorable way to end the day.

More friends were in the audience during the evening performance.  Stay tuned for all of our other December festivities!  I have so much to post! 'Tis the Season!
