February Fun

Valentine Festivities are always fun in February.  One day while I was subbing, Nonnie took Caroline to the local dog biscuit bakery to pick out treats for Chloe and Callie.

They also went to Justice.  The store had a craft table set up where she made a box and Valentine cards.  She also got in some dancing.  That store plays great music!

I took the girls separately to pick out the Valentine cards and treats they wanted to exchange with classmates.
One Friday evening in February, Abby went out for pizza and to see Kung Fu Panda with a friend down the street.  Brent and I took Caroline to dinner and to see the same movie at a different theater.
Everyone had a great night.
We've had several birthday parties this month.
The girls played dress up and helped Nonnie make a special dessert for our Super Bowl dinner.  They thought it was fun to crush Oreos with a hammer.
Aunt Mary brought Abby and Caroline Mardi Gras beads and a king cake.
The girls had Valentine parties at school.
Caroline's class played Friendship Bingo.

She loved opening the cards from friends when we got home.

Abby had an ice cream sundae at her party.

Mrs. Whitfill

The class played Pass the Pink Dragon
Abby was proud to raise some money for Jump Rope for Heart.
I went to watch her in PE the day her class participated.  It is very different from my Jump Rope for Heart days.  The kids not only jump rope, they rotate to many different jumping stations.

Caroline always loves a Friday lunch at Walnut Grove with Abby.
Valentine night we had our annual indoor spaghetti picnic.
The girls were excited to open Valentine cards that came in the mail and open a few gifts.

Abby and Caroline were out of school for President's Day and enjoyed a shopping trip to Walmart with their Valentine money.
We wrapped up February with Abby's Donuts with Dad and Caroline's lunch date with a friend. Brent had fun taking Abby to school for their special breakfast and Caroline and her friend were so excited to have their own little table at lunch.  The moms were also excited!  The girls were so good, we were able to visit for an hour without interruptions.  We also went to Spring in February.  Stay tuned for those pics!
