American Girl Afternoon Tea

Last Tuesday was Caroline's actual birthday.  We celebrated by taking our American Girl dolls for tea at the American Girl restaurant in Dallas.
GiGi and Nonnie joined us for the occasion and helped us shop in the store before tea.

The girls saved some money and rolled coins before the outing and had enough to buy some pets for their dolls.  GiGi and Nonnie treated them to matching dresses for themselves and their dolls.
After the shopping spree, we enjoyed sweet treats at our tea party.

On our way out, Caroline did some dancing and . . .

  . . . had a conversation with this doll.

We also took a gander at this doll's very expensive car and left with a long Christmas wish list.  It was a special afternoon!
