Ballerinas

Last Saturday, the girls performed in their dance recitals.  Caroline's ballet dance was the "Happy Working Song."
I was a Backstage Mom.  It was fun to be back there with Caroline before her big number.  Luckily, her class was number seven so we didn't have to wait long.

The other Backstage Mom and I brought coloring books and stickers to keep the dancers occupied while we waited.

We were not allowed to take pictures during the performance, so I only have before and after pics.  I did manage to get a video on my phone, which I will attempt to upload on another post.  Caroline gave PawPaw a big high five after her debut.
 Where's Daddy?
There he is!
The little star was so proud.

Abby was the opening number for the afternoon recital.  Her dance was "I want to be a Cowboy Sweetheart."
Backstage with Friends

Caroline did her dance poses with Lamby while waiting to be seated.

We were lucky to have reserved seats in the front for this recital.  It was a reward to the parents for getting our dancers to extra practices for this special dance.
 More High Fives. . .
 . . . and flowers.
Gary and Lin were at this performance too, but had to run.  It was a fun day watching our performers!
