. . . you might just get to meet Anna and Elsa.
We tried to see Anna and Elsa first thing the second morning. Although we were there right when the park opened, we weren't fast enough and when we reached the Princess Hall, the estimated time was five hours. Over the next couple of days, we came up with a new plan and it worked!!
The last day, we got there very early and were first at the gate. I walked behind Disney World staff holding a rope so no one could run. They said people had been trampled when Anna and Elsa first came to Disney World. I was glad for the rope and their strict rules of no running which they enforced. I did lose my shoe at one point, but Brent was behind me and grabbed it. Nonnie and Pops took the girls in their strollers because we learned the first day, strollers don't do well when you are trying to fight to keep your spot at the front. After we squeezed through the castle with a million other Anna and Elsa fans, the rope dropped and I was off! I couldn't believe how far up in the line I made it and then Nonnie and Pops passed the girls off to Brent who brought them up to my place in the line. Whew! We ended up waiting only 25 minutes, if that!
The girls were speechless as we entered the room where the princesses were greeting everyone. They kept saying, "Elsa's cape is so beautiful."
We really hit the jackpot with the princesses that last day. While meeting Anna and Elsa, Nonnie and Pops got in line at Ariel's Grotto and we ran straight there and passed them off to meet her.
Then, to top it off, Little Bubba got in line for Merida while they were meeting Ariel.
She was my absolute favorite princess. Caroline told her all about her own bow and arrow and then Merida gave her some pointers on shooting it.
The girls also shot a real bow and arrow after meeting her.
The afternoon of the last day, we had fast passes to meet Cinderella.
She was our last princess to see, which was a perfect way to end our time at Magic Kingdom.
Throughout the trip, we happened upon many other characters and princesses.
As we exited the Mad Tea Party ride, Alice and the White Rabbit were walking up.
Caroline was excited to tell Alice she was her for Halloween this past October.
One day, we rode a boat from Hollywood Studios to Epcot and met Rapunzel as we got off.
The girls made friends with a little girl and boy while we waited for Aladdin and Jasmine to return from dinner.
We met many of the characters at Epcot. They were in Morocco. We saw Belle in France.
Snow White was in Germany standing next to her wishing well.
Aurora was in the Gardens of France.
We saw Sophia from a distance at Hollywood Studios, but didn't meet her as we needed to head to our show with fast passes.
We met Donald at Animal Kingdom. The girls did not have one blank page in their autograph books.
